Barons end season with 1/4 final loss against Sharks

The Zoo Accounting Solihull Barons ended their 2022-23 season with defeat at the Moralee Play-off semi-final stage to eventual champions, the Solway Sharks.

The Barons managed a solid start in Altrincham and kept the Sharks in touch through the first period. Solihull pushed  through the middle twenty in an attempt to recover however the Sharks shifted up a gear and pulled away leaving the result beyond doubt. A late Jordan Jolly goal offered some cheer for the travelling support but the tie would mark the end of the Barons playing year.
