The Direct Taxis Solihull Barons got back to winning ways with a confident display in difficult conditions against the Blackburn Hawks on Saturday.

The game itself was marked by a thick layer of fog blanketing the ice which saw the game interrupted several times to try to clear the mist. When the game was underway Tom Soar, Niklas Ottosson and Daniel Mulcahy all bagged a pair of goals as the Barons notched up their impressive scoreline against a Blackburn squad struggling to find their early season footing.
