In what was no surprise to anyone, Matt Maurice picked up the Steve Perks trophy for the young player of the year. The teenager has been in outstanding form for Solihull, excelling on the top lines and scoring for fun notching up no less than 16 goals over the course of the league season with more promised for next year.
