Denise Crowe

Current Team
Barons-Volunteers

Denise is the current treasurer for the Barons and manages the finances for the Club. Denise has been involved in ice hockey in Solihull since 2004, when her sons Stephen and Richard joined the junior club. During her time with the junior club, Denise has held a number of positions in the club – team manager, vice chair, chair and treasurer, until she handed over her duties in 2015.

Richard Crowe (S Crampton)

Denise has been involved in the Barons since 2009 when son Stephen shared Barons duties with the junior club in his final 2 years of junior hockey. Subsequently, son Richard moved up to the Barons where he has been a mainstay of the Barons defence for over a decade. Most weekends are spent in an ice rink somewhere, either supporting the Barons and in particular, updating live scores on Facebook, or in Telford where oldest son Stephen now plays.

Denise can be found on match nights completing the game sheet or running the clock alongside her treasurer duties.

In her personal life, Denise works in pensions where she supports pension schemes for clients of various sizes and carries out quality assurance activities for those clients. Denise is also treasurer for the local Women’s Institute in the village where she lives and is also part of the Committee where she helps to organise events.
