On Saturday the TC Cars Solihull Barons would consider themselves disappointed to go down to a less than flattering scoreline against a well drilled, league leading Sheffield Steeldogs side having been their match for at least the first half of the game.

After a frenetic first five minutes which saw the Sheffield forwards pressure the Barons end while the home side played on the counter, it would be one such counter which got the opening goal of the game, Elliott Farrell providing the puck to Filip Supa for Solihull’s first goal of the night dead on five minutes. As something of a pre-Christmas treat we will be featuring a challenge game and after the 60 minute buzzer has sounded it will be your opportunity to skate with the TC Cars Solihull Barons squad in our annual Christmas skate. Holders of season tickets will also be able to use these for this special evening. Face-off will be our normal Sunday 6:00pm.

Sharks edge it in enthralling tie

Solway Sharks : 4

The TC Cars Solihull Barons would count themselves unlucky to at least not get a share of the points in a closely fought tie against a strong Solway Sharks side. Despite some idiosyncratic officiating the game was enthralling, with a lot of good hockey on display by both sides.
