The EDG Property Solihull Barons earned, yet another home win with defeat of the Whitley Warriors on Sunday evening by a scoreline which while reflecting a deserved Barons win did not truly reflect the closeness of much of the play.

The first period began with some close and hi-tempo end to end play which would see the Warriors get the opener, a close in effort from Phil Edgar beyond a spread-eagled Graham Laverick after nine minutes. The Barons quickly equalised through another rapid Jacob Race breakaway and classy conversion. More here
