Barons put in strong performance to slay Dragons

EDG Property Solihull Barons : 6
Deeside Dragons : 3

The EDG Property Solihull Barons returned to their strong home form set of results with a convincing win on Sunday over the Deeside Dragons in a result which saw the Barons consolidate second place in the league while the Dragons slipped down to fourth.

Not sure what is going on but Dani Haid appears alarmed while Aaron Moody seems to be quietly enjoying it (S Crampton)

The Barons opened the scoring after 7 minutes through a powerplay strike by Niklas Ottosson from the centre of the blue line after the puck was circulated to him from Richard Crowe and Alex Whyte. After 11 minutes the Dragons found Andy McKinney in the mirrored position to Ottosson with a goal being the same outcome to level things up. The game would continue to run end to end but there would be no further scoring in the first period. More here
