Barons struggle against stylish Sharks

The Zoo Accounting Solihull Barons had perhaps a night to forget on Sunday evening as a slick and well drilled Solway Sharks showed why they are a continuous fixture at the top end of the Moralee table.

The Barons forwards found little space and what there was, was quickly closed down by the Sharks (S Crampton)

Despite an early Barons powerplay it was the Sharks who were first to get the scorekeepers pen flowing with a cross to the right from Connor Henderson which was tapped in by Peter Gapa on Sam Hewitt’s exposed far side post. More…
