Moeller fills the final spot

The Direct Taxis Solihull Barons round off their 2021-22 roster with the addition of defenceman James Moeller. The industrious Moeller tends to play a dependable and safe game and Barons coach Callum Bowley sees the new season bringing individual development for James while he also fulfills a solid defensive role for the Barons.

“I am delighted to have secured the return of Moeller for next season and see him continue his development here in Solihull. He’s a coachable player with a great attitude and work rate. He’s a reliable stay at home defenceman who knows his role very well, he’s willing to put in the work to improve his game so it goes without saying that I’m pleased to have him back on board and work with him next season. With the team now signed, I just want to say on behalf of the club that we all can’t wait to get going in September and see you all at Hobs Moat Road again!”

We have a fantastic team and I’m really excited to see the direction Callum and Marcus are going to take, both working hard to bring the best hockey possible to Solihull.

I hope everybody continues to stay well and look forward to seeing you all in the near future for what looks to be a fantastic season!”
