U20s Barons

More players for U20s roster…

The Solihull Barons u20s continue to move forwards towards the new season with additional players  being added to the squad in the form of Tom Ryder, Jack Hardy, Louie Farthing, Aimee Hollingsworth & Kristaps Lejins.

Tom Ryder, having completed a successful season with the u20s last year, has again stepped forward to join the team again proving he has the drive and passion that made him a stand out figure of the team last season. A fast, skilful forward who is not afraid to work hard on the ice, Tom also brings with him useful knowledge of the rules having previously iced as an official, along with his father Steve and brother Dan, across a number of leagues.

U20s trials

Solihull Barons U20s are holding a trial on Saturday 16th July for any player over the age of 15 years, from 5:30-6:30pm.

In particular, we are looking for a netminder for the upcoming season.

Part of the successful Solihull Barons senior team, the U20s run separately from the junior system. They have also been successful recently with securing a grant to assist with the costs of running the team. There is no requirement to play for a junior team – we are happy that you play for the senior / U20s team to best aid your development.

Anyone wishing to attend the trial should register their interest by emailing solihullu20s@outlook.com . The cost will be £10 per player.

We look forward to hearing from you!
