200 games for Sam !
Direct Taxis Solihull Barons fan-favourite Sam Hewitt recently celebrated his 200th game in a Barons shirt making him comfortably the most prolific Solihull goalie with a senior career at Hobs Moat which goes all the way back to his debut as a 17 year old in 2008. While his 200th game for the Barons was during the recent away run, his long time supporters “The B Crew” who have supported and sponsored Sam since that debut, took the chance of the return to home ice on Sunday to present Sam with a thank-you commemoration in the form of an engraved tankard. We are sure all supporters will join us in congratulating Sam on this milestone and hopes that we see him gracing the Solihull ice for a long time to come !

Jolly joins the Barons
As many of you will have picked up, forward Jordan Jolly has joined the Barons for the remainder of the season and is currently wearing the number 15 shirt. The 22 year old Jolly has been signed from Telford Tigers 2 and has spent most of his career playing out of the Shropshire rink but is no stranger to Solihull having iced for the under-20 Barons back in 2016-17.

And finally can you help ? We have a handful of unclaimed ‘Own and Loan’ shirts from the 2019-20 season (the last season pre-lockdown) which we would like to unite with their owners.
