The TC Cars Solihull Barons are delighted to announce two further pre-season fixtures with the news that the Hobs Moat team will take on the Blackburn Hawks in a double header over the weekend of the 26th and 27th August.
On the Saturday the Barons will make the trip to Lancashire to take on the Hawks – the face-off will be 5:45pm.
Blackburn will then visit the Wesr Midlands on the Sunday evening with the puck dropping at 6:00pm.
The Hawks had a relatively slow start last season but came strong toward the end, to secure their play-off spot with the ties against the Barons always providing tight competiton and good entertainment.
With the season proper kicking off the following Sunday when the Sheffield Steeldogs make the trip to Silverblades Solihull, the Blackburn ties will be essential in helping gel both the old and new faces in the 2017-18 Barons line-ups and set a marker for what should be a very interesting season.
