Exciting teenage prospect Charlie Webb will be making the step a few miles south for the new season when he dons the skates for the EDG Property Solihull Barons in September. A forward, Webb divided his time between the Division2 and National Division Telford Tigers having previously been captain of the Telford under 18s racking up a massive 49 points from 15 games in 21/22.
The chance to have a place on the Solihull lines is a challenge Webb is keen to accept:
“I am excited to join the Barons for the 23/24 season. I am confident in the team that Leepy has built and will be a team to look out for this year. Can’t wait to get started and meet all the new fans. See you all in September!
Phil Lee, had coach for the Barons is really excited to see what Webb will do as part of the Barons set up.
“Charlie joins us from Telford Tigers. He is an up and coming young forward who is keen to further his development and progress his game. Charlie comes highly recommended, and I am sure he will be a big asset to the team, as he has the right attitude and desire to succeed. I look forward to working with Charlie over the forthcoming season. Welcome to the Team Charlie.
Please join with us in welcoming Charlie and keep following as we start to complete our 23/24 roster.
