Zoo Accounting Solihull Barons : 7
Sheffield Scimitars : 0
While it took a period to breakdown the visiting Sheffield Scimitars, by the end of the full hour in Sunday’s Moralee league tie, the Zoo Accounting Solihull Barons comfortably got the better of the Yorkshire side. Despite a strong work ethic and some energetic goal tending, Sheffield could not stem the Solihull scoring once that particular tap had been opened.

Despite sitting at the lower reaches of the league table, the Scimitars showed they would be no walkover through the first twenty. Strong play from the visitors defied the Barons as quick breaking and chasing Sheffield forwards threatened the Solihull end while disciplined D coupled to a very strong opening stint from the acrobatic and dependable Tom Hovell in the Scims net ensured there would be no scoring as the sides headed to the dressing rooms for the first period break of the night.
