Barons power up the forward lines

Perry Doyle was delighted to announce the final player onto the Airport Placements limited Solihull Barons roster for 2016/17 in the form of 6’1″ forward Paul Davies.

Speaking earlier Perry Doyle said :

“Paul will be a good addition to the team. He is a big guy and knows how to put the checks in but has pace and can notch up the points too. Obviously Rob Eley called it a day at the end of last season and that has opened up a space on the roster for someone like Paul.”

“We know he can work hard in the dirty areas in the corners and in the goal crease, keeping the pressure on the opposition-D, generating turnovers and forcing mistakes. I know he wants to make a positive impact on the side, keep their guys honest and in doing so hopefully get some points for himself and the team.”

Davies most recently played for the Laidler championship winning Deeside Dragons but also iced for the EPL Manchester Phoenix a number of times through the season.

Paul’s match night jersey’s, together with those of the rest of the Barons are available to own and loan. For more details see here.
