Neil Edginton

Solihull born Neil Edginton, has been a keen Barons fan for many years. Married with two young children, Neil can often be found on the ice being held up by his kids – at least one of which is already a budding Baron in the making. Alongside brother Andy, they have a mission to see the ice-rink full with Barons fans for every single game, like the ‘good old days’!

In his professional life, Neil is a local real-estate entrepreneur who holds several executive directorships and has been instrumental in changing the landscape of the West Midlands, having led major regeneration projects such as The Cube, The Mailbox and Fort Dunlop. In 2007 Neil established and subsequently managed a large construction company, responsible for employing more than 500 people, with a turnover in excess of £1m a week.

In 2010 Neil established EDG Property, developing projects in the Midlands, as well as providing development management and asset management services to leading banks and large funds, on multi-million-pound mixed use projects around the UK.

He has been Chairman of Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital Charity and has been honoured by Birmingham City University for his services to enterprise and innovation. He has been recognised in Insider ‘42 under 42’, Property Week ‘Hot 50’ and ‘Who’s Who in Britain’ twice over. Neil is a speaker for WMCCE and a guest speaker for Birmingham City University. His development projects have received widespread industry recognition, including double RICS and RIBA awards.
