Andy is Solihull born and bred, and grew up watching the Barons play after being introduced to ice hockey at a junior school birthday party.
Married with 3 children, the youngest of whom now plays at u14 level, Andy is often spotted at the rink or enjoying an away trip to Whitley Bay, Bradford or other far flung exotic ice hockey locations!
He has joined the Barons ‘back room’ team for the new season as part of the EDG Property sponsorship, in the role of advisor to the club’s management committee.
He brings finance, commercial and general management experience from 25 years working in finance roles with PLCs including BT, and as a Management Consultant with PWC. Andy is currently Chief Operating Officer / Chief Financial Officer at International law firm Gowling WLG where ‘hockey’ (as they call it) is often a feature of meetings with Canadian colleagues.
Alongside work and home life Andy is also a school governor, and coaches / manages an u18 football team.
