Hi all, As we get ready to celebrate Six Decades of Barons hockey, here’s a look at the exciting plan for our special two‑hour ice slot! With two teams taking part, this day is all about nostalgia, celebration, and great hockey.
Adult tickets: £10 each
Child tickets: U18s Free but must be accompanied by an adult
Tickets can be ordered and will be on sale at the merchandise stand
Event Structure
On‑Ice Warm-Up & Player Introductions (15 mins)• Light warm-up• Players announced by decade/era• Group photo at centre ice Period 1 – Classic Barons Hockey • Traditional Barons style• Lines organised by era where possible Skills Showcase / Fun Challenges Featuring juniors too!• Hardest Shot• Fastest Skater• Skill Shooting (Holey Goalie)• Showmanship Shootout• Chuck‑a‑Puck
Great fun for players and fans alike! Period 2 – Mixed Roster Game • Shuffle the lines• Creativity, flow & fun hockey Period 3 – Competitive Finale • A friendly but spirited finish to the on‑ice action Closing Ceremony • Thank-yous to players, volunteers & guests• Presentation of any commemorative items• Final group photos
