Solihull Ice Hockey players Mikey Rodger (Vikings and ex Barons) Ben Grice (Vikings and Storm) were run down outside Solihull Ice Rink by a hit and run driver on the way to training on 30th September. They were left with critical injuries and have had weeks in hospital. Both have young families and will not be working for the near future.
A 3 on 3 tournament in Solihull on Sunday 17th November between the 4 recreational teams Vikings, Rockets, Jesters and Storm will be taking place from 7.45pm.
Each team to have 10 players, 1 goalie + 9 out ice players (more players permitted but may restrict ice time)
Play each other once and drawn prior to start because there will be a couple of cases a team will have to play back to back games. 1v2, 3v4, 1v3, 2v4, 1v4 & 2v3.
The games will all be 3 on 3 for 10 minute running clock with 5 minutes in between games (no resurfaces)
