Phil Mulcahy ready for 23/24

Phil Mulcahy will be back with the EDG Property Solihull Barons with plans to create havoc in the offensive zone through 2023-24. With a massive 70 points last season Phil will be hoping to pick up where he left off and help ensure the Barons are a team to beat.

With Mulcahy being a key piece of the Barons line-ups since 2017-18, coach Phil Lee was extremely keen to see him back in a Solihull shirt for the upcoming season.

“I am pleased to see that Phil is returning for the 23/24 season.  His offensive abilities in the last season were second to none, this coupled with his unorthodox approach to his game, makes him unpredictable for the oppositions defence, which often draws penalties for the opposing teams.  Phil also has the ability to work in tight spaces, causing havoc in the offensive zone. Welcome back Phil.

Mulcahy was also very upbeat about the season to come and the role he can play:

“I’m thrilled to be returning to the Barons for the 23/24 season and looking to build on the positives from last year.

“I’m grateful to all of the returning and new sponsors on board and eager to show them what we can do as a team. Most of all, I’m excited to see all of you Barons supporters at our first game back at Hobs Moat Road and throughout the season in what I’m confident will be a successful one!

With Phil back we are confident all supporters will be starting to get really excited about the Barons prospects for 2023-24. Keep following for more announcements as the new season’s roster is announced.
