Brandon back for the Barons

The EDG Property Solihull Barons are thrilled to be bringing back the hard-grafting Brandon Anderton to Hobs Moat. With a committed playing style and 100% effort each shift, Brandon’s reputation in the league has grown since his return to Solihull and he has established himself as a firm favourite with the fans.

Brandon himself is keen to build on his good work from last year and be a part in seeing the Barons fulfil their potential in 23/24.

”I’m excited to say I’m returning for the new season and looking forward to kick start with the team Leepy is creating. I know Leepy has been working very hard behind the scenes with Neil (EDG Property) with getting things done for the club and I know the lads and myself appreciate all their efforts already.

“With the end of last season, we saw some key players who have decided to hang up the skates and their presence alone will be missed in the changing room, however you know what they say “every dark cloud has a silver lining” and it’s time for certain players to step up their game especially with some new faces joining the club.

“Overall, I feel this season is a key season for the Barons as I strongly believe this group of lads are more than capable of winning some silverware this season.

For the Barons, Phil Lee, head coach, had no questions about wanting Brandon to be a key component of the Solihull squad come September.

I am really excited to have Brandon back for his second season with the Barons.  Brandon’s work ethic and high energy gets the team going. He causes problems for defensive units on the opposing teams and works well with his teammates.  On and off the ice Brandon goes above and beyond, and I am delighted he was keen to return.  Welcome back Brandon.
