The Solihull Barons are pleased to announce the return of Dave Rogers after a year away. Generally playing as a defenceman but with option to play forward if needed Rogers has amassed over 200 games as a Baron. With an edgy style and an ability to turn round plays through hustling forecheck or speedy breakaways, his return we are sure will be popular with fans.
Phil Lee is naturally very pleased to see Rogers return to the roster.

“I would like to welcome Dave back to the team after a season away, following his change in career. Dave has notched up over 200 games for the Barons and comes with a wealth of experience. He is a quick and agile player with a gritty attitude and playing style and will add depth to the defence.
“Welcome back Dave!

For Dave, the desire to get back on the Hobs Moat ice after a season away is palpable:
“It is with great joy that I can announce that I’m back to the Barons after a year out! Really excited to get this season underway and be back on the ice with all the boys and be back playing in front of all our amazing supporters!
“I missed playing last year so it feels amazing to be able to come back and bring all I can to the team. It’s going to be an exciting year especially having Leepy as coach. I feel Leepy will bring just what we need for the team and I have no doubts about our goals for this year!
We are sure our supporters will be very pleased to see Dave back in a Barons shirt – and if you would like to sponsor that shirt get your bid in soon here.
