Some sad news came in this morning of the passing of Ray Tookey, one of the Barons longest standing and most loyal supporters who has been a familiar figure round the Hobs Moat rink for many years.
Ray of course was also part of the Barons family through grandsons Richard and Stephen Crowe both having played at senior and junior level for Solihull, while granddaughter Cody iced for both the Vixens and U20 Barons.
At this time, the Barons thoughts go out to Ray’s wife and ardent Barons fan Sylvia, Richard, Stephen, their mum Denise and Cody together with the wider Tookey and Crowe families.
