Charlie Hammerton is a second generation Baron, his father, Warwick, having been a regular in the side of the late 80s. Charlie joins the squad this season as a full senior player. Coach Darren Bellerby observed “With impressive stats on limited appearances due to being restricted to U18 commitments last year, Charlie has shown me over the summer he wants to be a part of the team and has been working hard both on and off the ice to prove he has what it takes to hold down a permanent slot this season.”

“Charlie is a big lad” commented Coach Bellerby “I’m looking for him to utilise that this year and become more of a presence on the ice and a complete package. He has good hands and an eye for goal and with the guidance of the guys around him I’m sure he will be a regular for many seasons to come.”
