This Friday, 16th August, the Big Man, Perry Doyle pulls on the gloves in aid of the Solihull Barons support for Birmingham Children's Hospital Cancer Centre Appeal.

As part of a "White Collar Boxing Package" at Digbeth's South and City College, Perry has generously agreed to donate both his purse for the event and his specially made Solihull Barons boxing kit to help the Barons in their ongoing support for the hospital.

Having been training hard over the last few months at Moseley's Riggs Fitness Centre, Doyle has expressed confidence in being able to put on a good show and raise a sizable donation toward the good cause.

No stick required, as Doyle swaps the rink for the ring

Two nights later and Doyle should be back in more familiar garb as he takes to the ice for the Barons in their opening challenge against the Oxford City Stars, a game again in aid of the Children's Hospital. Face-off 6pm.
