Despite considerable interest from elsewhere in the league the Motor Nation Solihull Barons have once again secured the services of fearsome defenceman Perry Doyle.
Doyle began his senior career with the Barons back in the 1980s and has had a career which has seen him play at the highest levels in the UK.

Standing 6 foot 8 inches in his skates, Doyle rejoined the Barons in the middle of last season playing a dozen games for three goals, three assists and sixty six penalty minutes.
A role player, Doyle's commitment and toughness have been used by Solihull coach Darren Bellerby to offer support to the Barons younger and smaller team members, allowing them to concentrate on their game.
The return of Doyle rounds off the bulk of the Barons signings for the 2013-14 season, though Bellerby has not ruled out adding one or two more names before the season starts.
Fixtures will be announced in due course but the 1st September is likely to be the Barons first home game of the season.
