Award's Night Winners !!!

Saturday evening saw the Barons reflect on a highly successful first season in the Moralee division which saw the team finish third in the league and make the play-off final.

The evening also included the announcement that for the first time in their history, the team had decided to retire a number, in this case Rob Eley's #19 as a recognition of his service to the club over the years and of course his efforts through his testimonial 19 for 19 campaign.

The team also took the chance to thank sponsors, supporters, players and volunteers and hand out awards.

A big thanks from the Barons to all who came along.

The team will take a short Summer's break before hitting the ice once more in late August ahead of September's season start.

Work has already begun to try to make sure the Barons have every chance of success in 2016-17 and stay tuned for announcements over the Summer.

Photographers take their bow

Saturday would also mark the final evening "on duty" for long standing Barons photographers, Jenny & Keith Davies.

Club Photographers Keith and Jenny Davies have decided to step down as the team photographers for the coming season and concentrate on supporting the team from the stands.

As well as being excellent ambassadors for the Solihull Barons and providing photos for a number of years for the club Keith and Jenny have also provided similar services to other teams around the country.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank Keith and Jenny for being part of the club and providing a host of memorable photos for the club, players and supporters.

Thank you from all involved with the Barons and hockey across the country.
