#17 : Rich Slater
Rich Slater is very much a product of the Solihull system coming through the juniors before beginning his involvement with the senior squad in 2005-06, scoring as a 15 year old in his debut with the EPL Barons. In a decade with the Barons, winger Rich would net over 200 times and was top scorer in 2009-10, 11-12 & 12-13.

#84 : Mike Rodger
Canadian born Mike Rodger is a relatively recent Barons player who last competed, and was an assistant captain, for the side in 2013-14. A rushing D-man, Rodger play was perhaps at his best in his ability to quickly take the puck up the ice and turn D to A.

#91 : Jon Eley
Rob Eley's brother Jon is also a product of the Solihull junior system but one who found as he entered his teens, his focus turning to speed skating rather than hockey. A highly successful speed skating career would follow which include relay world records, medals at European and World level, not to mention participation in three Olympic games, including being flag bearer for the British team at Sochi in 2014. |
