Two more names have been added to Rob Eley's 19 for 19 Legends and while both have iced for Solihull based teams it is probably be fair to say that they may be best known for their inolvement with hockey in the North-East.
#81 : Michael Tasker
In Michael Tasker the 19 for 19 Legends have a man from the illustrious Durham set-up and who played for the near mythical Wasps squad of the late eighties and early nineties.
After the Wasps effectively ceased to exist in 1996, Tasker continued to play at a high level until 2007-8, icing for a number of sides, most notably the Elite Coventry Blaze and Newcastle Vipers.
A partial season at Hobs Moat would also
be added to his reusme in 1999-2000 and it will be to Solihull he will return on 24th April.
#15 : Paddy O'Connor
O'Connor also began his hockey career with the Durham Wasps, playing in the blue, white and gold for three season's before a spell at a variety of clubs including a season and a half with the Solihull Blaze in the English Premier league. Having hung up his skates O'Connor returned to the North East, and was Director of Hockey Operations for the Newcastle Vipers.
