More Big Names for 19 for 19 Legends
Millie & Abel will pull on "Legends" shirts !

More big names have been announced for Rob Eley's 19 for 19 Testimonial game on Sunday 24th April.

Quickly following the annonuncement of Hilton Ruggles and Steve Chartrand two more big names have agreed to take to the ice in aid of Rob's cause.

Kirkcaldy born players Neil Abel and Les Millie will need no introduction to hockey fans.

#6 : Neil Abel

Big Neil Abel is perhaps one of the most iconic defencemen in UK hockey with a pro-career running to a quarter of a century. After a decade playing for home town side the Fife Flyers, Abel looked for pastures new and headed south playing initially for the Sheffield Steelers before lacing the skates for a wide range of teams over the following decade including a single game for the Solihull Blaze. Abel would wind up his career based back in the Steel town with playing and coaching involvement with both the Scimitars and Steelers.

#32 : Les Millie

Another Fife player, Millie began his career with the Flyers before he joined Abel in the 1992-93 Sheffield Steelers roster. A small but quick and highly skilled forward Millie would spend the bulk of his career with Sheffield sides the Scimitars and Steelers but had a memorable season and a half at Solihull notching up 90 goals and well over two hundred points.

Speaking earlier Millie was buzzing about getting back on Solihull ice for 19 for 19,
"I am honoured, humbled and privileged to have been asked to take part in such an amazing event. I am looking forward to going back to Hobs Moat Road and catching up with ex teammates and friends, it will be an amazing evening and I look forward to seeing you all there to lend your support to this worthy cause"
