The EDG Property Solihull Barons will once more be graced by the skills of Finnish forward, Filip Byf\u00e4lt who returns to Hobs Moat after a successful first season with the Barons. After quickly getting up to NIHL speed Filip established himself as someone with the vision to create the sort of plays to open up Ds and tap in goals.<\/b><\/p>\n

Having made such a positive contribution in 22\/23, bringing Byf\u00e4lt back was always going to be on Phil Lee\u2019s to-do list:<\/p>\n

\u201dOnce again, I am pleased that Filip has agreed to sign for his second season with the Barons. \u00a0Filip\u2019s experience, excellent hockey IQ and his hard-working approach will be key to the Barons push next season. Filip fits in and is very adaptable, and able to play on multi lines, always working hard and I look forward to working with Filip again this season. \u00a0Welcome back Filip.<\/i><\/p>\n

Returning to competitive hockey as a Baron has clearly excited Filip and when the chance to come back to Hobs Moat arose, he grabbed it.<\/p>\n

“After a long break from competitive ice hockey I really enjoyed getting back into it last season with the Barons. It was great to see the team develop over the year and to see how the organisation and fans helped us all the way to the semi-finals. Obviously, the target is set higher for this year and I’m sure that we’ll have a good shot at it. See you back at the rink soon!”<\/p>\n
