Forward Elliot Farrell has come onboard as a welcome late edition to the Direct Taxis Solihull Barons 2021-22 squad.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The speedy winger completed his degree at Birmingham University at the start of the Summer and had expected to move on for work. Securing a role more locally has however allowed a return to the Barons. It is hoped he will feature in the weekend\u2019s Haringey games if registration formalities can be completed in time.<\/p>\n

For Callum Bowley, the late opportunity to add some extra depth in the form of Farrell was welcome :<\/p>\n

\u201dI am delighted to have Elliot back with the Barons. When I spoke with him throughout the summer, he was contemplating working down south but now he has managed to secure a new job closer to home and can commit for the season which is great news for everyone. He\u2019s a player that brings speed, a great work ethic and depth to our lineup. We are pleased to have him back and I believe he\u2019ll hit the ground running.<\/em><\/p>\n
