The Airport Placement Limited Solihull Barons have been named the Moralee Conference “Organisation of the Year” at the end of season NIHL Radio Awards.<\/p>\n

The award was voted on by fellow Moralee teams and recognised :<\/p>\n

– reception and welcome provided by the rink\/arena
\n– friendliness of the club
\n– facilities of the rink
\n– the fans
\n– any other factors teams considered important<\/p>\n

So while the boys on the ice did the team credit over the play-off weekend the management would like to put out a big thank you to our partners at Silverblades Solihull, our volunteers and off-ice team, our supporters club, our sponsors and a big, big shout out to our supporters. Well done to you all !!!<\/p>\n

Other Barons to feature in the Moralee awards were :<\/p>\n

Perry Doyle – nominee : coach of the year (Won by Martin Grubb of Solway)
\nMatt Maurice – nominee : young plater of the year (Won by Jordan Buesa of Solway)
\nNiklas Ottosson – 2nd All-Star team<\/p>\n
