Supa released from the Barons

The TC Cars Solihull Barons have confirmed the release of Filip Supa from the squad this week.

Slovak Supa, joined the squad at the start of the season and has picked up 14 points from 8 goals and 6 assists in 22 competitive ties.

The Barons management would like to thank Filip for his efforts while in a Solihull shirt and wish him all the very best in the future.

Following Saturday’s defeat on home ice at Solihull on Saturday the Tigers and Barons quickly followed this up with a highly competitive tie at Telford on Sunday evening. Despite missing a number of key players the Barons put on a strong performance and gave the Tigers something to think about. More here.

In front of a large seasonal crowd, the TC Cars Solihull Barons held the Telford Tigers to account for two periods on Saturday before the Shropshire side stretched their legs, emerging with both points for their evening’s work.

The Tigers, flying high in the league, wasted little time on getting on the scoreboard as Scott McKenzie fed Jack Watkins for the opening goal two minutes into the game. By five minutes the Barons had levelled up with Josh Bruce providing Andy Whitehouse for a short-handed equaliser. More here.
