The Solihull Barons are delighted to welcome on board EDG Property as our title sponsor for the 2023-24 Moralee Season.
Headquartered in Solihull town centre, EDG Property are a specialist asset management and property development organisation with key involvement in many of the West Midlands most prestigious commercial and residential properties including the Cube, the Mailbox, Fort Dunlop and Coventry’s former Co-Operative building.
Neil Edginton, founder and MD of EDG property had this to say about the exciting new tie-up.

I am also pleased to say that I have joined the Barons management committee to try to bring a new, fresh approach, a business and commercial approach similar to the one we bring to our real estate business every day. Barons chair Dave Hayward is thrilled to have EDG join with the Barons for what promises to be a very big season for the Solihull club:
‘In an ever changing world, the challenges running a senior ice hockey team such as the Barons have become increasingly more difficult as costs have risen at an alarming rate. Sponsorship is more important than ever and as a club we are hugely grateful, delighted and excited to announce EDG Property as our Headline Sponsor for the NIHL 1 North 2023-24 season. I spoke to Neil Edginton of EDG at the start of year when he approached the club to see if there was any help and assistance that EDG could give the club. We agreed to meet up and along with Leepy and Neil’s brother Andy, where it became apparent that Neil and Andy had caught the hockey bug, were huge Barons fans and had a real passion for the game. Over a few weeks Neil and Andy took the time to understand the challenges the club faced and with their vast commercial experience and contacts have helped the club to put a detailed and exciting plan together for the coming season that will put the club in a much more sustainable position going forward. As a club we cannot thank them enough for what they have done to date and what they have committed to do for the Barons over the coming months.
