Darren Bellerby, head coach of the Motor Nation Solihull Barons, continues to add the finishing touches to his 2013-14 roster with the signing this week of experienced forward Rhys McWilliams.
The 27 year old knows Hobs Moat well having played with Solihull as a junior before embarking on his senior career with the Barons back in 2001. Since then, the well travelled McWilliams has featured on the rosters of sides at all levels in the UK, including the Elite League Nottingham Panthers, Coventry Blaze and the Manchester Phoenix before their drop to the Premier League.
The last five years have seen McWilliams wear the sky blue of the national league Coventry Blaze where he was very much a key player, captaining the side in 2011-12 and amassing 134 points.
Always one to watch in the Barons-Blaze A45 derbies, the return of the prodigal forward to Solihull will be met with open arms by long standing and new Barons fans alike.
