The new arrivals haven’t had much time to train with their new team mates, but Darren Bellerby is keen to get his new men into action to try and bolster a defence that has leaked 80 goals in 13 games so far this season - and just in time too.
When the unbeaten table-topping Stars visit Hobs Moat Road at the weekend, they will be overwhelming favourites after their 8-0 victory over Solihull earlier in the season, but Bellerby’s side could force an upset against a team who will be weary from a long journey; stranger things have happened. |
The Barons will of course, be without Martin O’Brien after he was released from the club earlier this week following a pre-match altercation in last weekend’s clash with Blackburn Hawks. But with a disciplined display, and a bit of luck, the Barons could rock the boat by pulling off the shock of the ENL North One season with victory on Sunday.
Tickets for Solihull Barons v Billingham Stars are available on the door and are priced at £6 adults and £3 concessions (inc students with a valid card). Face-off is scheduled for 6pm and car parking is free. |
